With the introduction of Essential Aminos, Stacker2 is bringing a new top supplement to the market. Essential Aminos is perhaps the best amino acid product in our range in terms of composition, taste and certainly price.

Some amino acids are indispensable for you as an athlete. These are amino acids that your body cannot produce itself. They are also called essential amino acids and there are eight of them. Glutamine can be seen as the ninth essential amino acid for athletes who put a lot of strain on their muscles.

Essential Aminos contains 11 grams of these essential amino acids per serving. It contains the most amino acids most relevant to you as an athlete. Essential Aminos contains no less than 5.7 grams of Glutamine and 4.5 grams of BCAAs per dose in the ideal 3:1:1 ratio. The amount of Leucine is therefore three times as high as the content of Valine and Isoleucine.

PURE, IMPORTANT AND GOOD TASTE AMINO ACIDS!

Essential Aminos from Stacker contains:
★ All essential amino acids in an optimal dosage
★ 5.7 grams of pharmaceutical grade Glutamine
★ 4.5 grams of BCAAs per serving
★ BCAAs in the ideal 3:1:1 ratio

Why you need amino acids
As you may know, amino acids are the building blocks of proteins.
You need amino acids for your muscles and metabolism to function optimally. On average, a person needs 1 gram of protein per kilogram of body weight. If you exercise intensively and you aim for faster recovery, or you want to grow a lot of muscle mass, you quickly need 2 to 2.5 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight. Protein supplements can provide the body with this greater need, but top athletes and professional bodybuilders want a supplement that is absorbed super quickly by the body and reaches the muscles in no time: they choose amino acids. Amino acids have great added value, especially just before and immediately after training.

The Importance of Glutamine in Essential Aminos
There are eight essential amino acids, these are amino acids that the body cannot produce itself and that you must therefore obtain through your diet. Glutamine is considered the ninth essential amino acid for athletes. No less than 80% of your muscles consist of Glutamine. Glutamine is so important that if you get too little of it, your body simply breaks down other amino acids to build Glutamine. Even BCAAs have to be taken when glutamine levels are too low. This is why one serving of Essential Aminos contains almost 6 grams of pure Glutamine. Everything you have read and already know about the functioning of amino acids in your body only becomes meaningful when your muscles have sufficient Glutamine.

Leucine, an anabolic amino acid in Essential Aminos
Leucine is the most important Branched Chain Amino Acid (BCAA). Muscle cells respond to Leucine in a special way. The more Leucine finds the muscle cell, the more intensely the anabolic signaling molecule IRS-1 is triggered. In concrete terms, this means: the more Leucine there is in a muscle cell, the more pure muscle mass is built up. Leucine is a much talked about ingredient, it can increase muscle protein synthesis by up to 70%.

BCAA in Essential Aminos prevents catabolism
BCAAs have been tested by scientists for more than 10 years for performance in strength and endurance athletes. The research results show uncontroversially that BCAAs protect the muscles, have a muscle-building function and can provide extra energy. Recent research shows that BCAA supplementation disrupts the production of catabolic proteins such as atrogin-1 and MuRF1. This indicates that the muscle cell experiences less stress, which is even more evident in the measurements of the stress hormone creatine kinase a few hours after training. In these studies, significantly less stress hormone was found in athletes who, in addition to a good diet, also used BCAAs.

Other essential amino acids in Essential Aminos
Now that we have explained the functions of the most important essential amino acids, five more remain. Although these five essential amino acids do not play a key role in the process of muscle recovery and muscle building, you should not underestimate their function either.
Lysine plays an important role in the conversion of fats into energy. Together with Leucine, Lysine ensures a better metabolism. Threonine supports digestion and promotes the build-up of elastin and proteins. After training, the muscle tissue is stretched and elastin ensures that the tissue returns to its original state. Methionine is an amino acid that ensures good metabolism, allowing other nutrients to be absorbed better and faster.
Phenylalanine is involved in the production of neurotransmitters in the brain, it influences mood in a positive way. Finally, Tryptophan. Tryptophan is a building block of many proteins and is used together with vitamins and minerals by the brain to produce serotonin. Serotonin is an important anti-stress hormone and, like BCAAs, fights catabolism.
